What is Accreditation?

You can trust that a BABCP Accredited therapist is highly-qualified in CBT. Our accredited members have completed both core professional mental health training or recognised equivalent, as well as specific CBT training. This quality standard helps ensure safe and effective therapy for everyone.

BABCP Accreditation

Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist Accreditation

Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBP) Accreditation with the BABCP demonstrates to the public and employers that you meet our high standards of training and experience.

Supervisor Accreditation

Supervisor Accreditation provides recognition of high quality CBT supervision. This accreditation is for experienced CBT Psychotherapists providing CBT supervision who have been accredited with us for at least four years.

Trainer Accreditation

Trainer Accreditation provides recognition of providing high-quality training in CBT. This accreditation is for experienced CBT Psychotherapists providing training in CBT who have been accredited with us for a minimum of four years.

Evidence Based Parent Training Accreditation

This accreditation is for those who have completed a BABCP accredited CYP IAPT Parent Training For Conduct Disorder course.
