CBT supervision is a space for reflection, formulation, treatment planning, and skills development. However, supervision can sometimes become repetitive, overly structured, and dominated by repetitive discussions. Just like therapy, supervision works best when it is active, engaging, and experiential.
This webinar will explore how supervisors can make supervision more ‘action-packed’ through the use of chairwork, and how these methods can support supervisees’ technical, perceptual, interpersonal, reflective, and personal development. More specifically, participants will learn how to use chair-based methods to enhance empathy and self-reflection, explore therapeutic blocks and impasses, and build skills and therapeutic confidence.
The webinar will be highly practical, experiential, and skills-focused. This webinar is suitable for therapists and/or practitioners who provide clinical supervision in CBT and/or related approaches.
