Synopsis

The BABCP are delivering a series of low-intensity CPD events curated by Lauren Hassan-Leslie, Hugh Miller and Hannah Tippler. You can expect a series of engaging and interactive webinars to help you develop your current core skills and brush up on some of the latest in low-intensity interventions.

This webinar will focus on working with young people and parents/carers, were by making sense of the problem, developing a working formulation with the client to focus the clinical work, and enhance goals will be the focus.  Drawing on your current skill set and experience as well as considering new ways to explore CYPF difficulties to enhance confidence in LI interventions.  

This webinar is targeted at qualified CWPs and EMHPs in their first three years of practise, or for more experienced CWPs, EMHPs and SWPs wanting to refresh their knowledge or hear different perspectives, given a wide range of training styles across the UK.

Learning outcomes 

  • To support practitioners to build confidence in their ability to make fuller sense of problems and develop problem statements to focus the GSH
  • To understand the benefits of formulating and develop formulation skills with CYPF
  • To use formulations to target LI work and move towards SMARTer goals

About the presenters

Lauren teaches on the Senior Wellbeing Practitioner and Supervision Programme at Anna Freud and is a CWP Supervisor and CWP Team Lead in Islington CAMHS.

Hugh is the CAMHS CBT and CWP Lead at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and the author of the CWP and EMHP Handbook. He has previously tutored and taught on CWP/EMHP courses.

An event booking cancelled up to 5 days prior to the scheduled event will receive a full refund.

No refunds will be granted if a cancellation is made fewer than 5 days prior to the scheduled event, or for failure to attend.

BABCP cancels events only when necessary, but reserves the right to do so, as well as to reschedule events and substitute presenters.  If an event is cancelled you will be given a full refund of registration fees paid.
