Workplace Wellbeing Special Interest Group

This Special Interest Group has been set up to form a nationwide community for BABCP members with an interest in developing ideas and innovations in workplace wellbeing. Group members will vary in their focus on interest, some will be looking to develop ways to improve the wellbeing of NHS Talking Therapies workers and other NHS CBT therapists, some will be interested in research and policy development, while others will be independent practitioners looking to share ideas and innovations in the field of workplace wellbeing. We aim to create a community that will have an equal appeal to all.

Aims

  • To create a community that shares new information and innovations in the field of workplace wellbeing
  • To support members interested in researching innovations and constructs in workplace wellbeing
  • To find ways to disseminate our growing knowledge base to others in the BABCP (e.g. training events)
  • To collate a database of resources of information and interventions for CBT and workplace wellbeing, which will be with the ambition to make this available to all BABCP members
