Are you a member yet? Membership is open to all and is the first step towards accreditation.
Once you are registered you can take time out of practice and stay registered for up to two years. We call this a Leave of Absence. Please let us know about an upcoming or current leave of absence using the form below. You will need to provide evidence of the leave.
Why we ask for this information - We must ask for information about breaks in practice, supervision and CPD, to ensure that the Wellbeing Practitioner section of the CBT Register UK and Ireland is accurate.
GDPR Compliance - In order to protect your privacy, we delete your Leave of Absence form and evidence once we have processed it and record broad reasons for absence (such as ‘health’) along with relevant dates on our system. For more details please see our privacy policy.

You will need to continue paying your annual BABCP membership and registration maintenance subscription to remain registered.
If you no longer wish to continue with these payments, you can lapse your membership and subsequently your registration. You would then be required to re-join and when you return to practice. If you wish to remain a member and pay your annual membership fee, but lapse your registration fee, you would still be required to apply to re-join the register when you return to practice.
If you have a work email address linked to your BABCP account, which you will not have access to whilst on a leave of absence, you should contact wellbeing@babcp.com to provide an alternative.
