Synopsis
Based on current estimates for the UK population, there are around three quarters of a million people living with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) at any one time. OCD affects as many as 12 in every 1,000 people (1.2% of the population) from young children to adults, regardless of gender, social or cultural background.

Professor Karina Lovell is a national expert in the psychological treatment of OCD. She will present information about the nature and clinical features of the condition; a critical appraisal of treatment methods and consideration of case studies with complexity and co-morbidity based in lived experience.  The workshop will provide a significant opportunity for skills practice to enhance CBT therapists' work using exposure and response prevention (ERP) and cognitive interventions. The workshop style will be both didactic and interactive with small and large group practice and discussions.

The workshop is highly relevant to both high and low intensity therapists and will cover various levels of complexity and comorbidity.

Join us in Manchester to learn more about Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for OCD. Lunch and refreshments will be provided so there is an opportunity for meeting other therapists in the breaks.  We look forward to seeing you there!
