Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners 

The Role: What you’ll do

As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner you will work within our IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) services. Your main role as PWP is being responsible for providing high volume low intensity CBT interventions to clients with Common Mental Health Disorders. You will conduct telephone triage assessments, one to one sessions via phone and face to face, groups and use of computerised CBT (CCBT).

Your skills and background:


  • A qualification in low intensity CBT interventions 
  • Experience of treating low intensity common mental health conditions. 
  • Have good in IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office packages, databases and electronic record systems is required. 
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion 


  • Psychology or other health related undergraduate degree
  • Experience of facilitating Groups
  • Experience of Computerised CBT packages (Silver cloud)
  • Experience of using patient record system (IAPTUS)


£25,655 - £31,534 Pro rata per annum (Band 5 Equivalent AFC)
