Senior Lecturer in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy

The Faculty of Life Sciences and Education is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Lecturer, experienced and qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy, to take on the role of Course Leader for our Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and to support the continued development of the University’s cognitive behavioural therapies provision. The successful applicant will teach at postgraduate level, and will:

Make a substantial contribution to the delivery of the PG Dip / MSc Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy course, with focus on student recruitment and experience, regulatory requirements, and placement coordination.

• Contribute to the delivery of other courses within the academic portfolio.
• Contribute to Master’s dissertation supervision
• Engage in scholarly activity and develop their research interests.

This is an opportunity to make an important contribution to cognitive behavioural therapies training in South Wales, joining a vibrant and enthusiastic team. This course is one of a range of psychotherapeutic programmes at the university and is housed in purpose built teaching and clinical accommodation at Newport City Campus.

• Yn cymryd rhan mewn gweithgarwch ysgolheigaidd ac yn datblygu eu diddordebau ymchwil.

Mae hwn yn gyfle i wneud cyfraniad pwysig at hyfforddiant therapïau gwybyddol ymddygiadol ym Mhrifysgol De Cymru, gan ymuno â thîm bywiog a brwdfrydig.
