Interested in a role in academia? Opportunities for clinicians to join an established University Clinical and Applied Psychology team
The University of Sheffield has a number of posts that we are keen to fill in our Clinical and Applied Psychology Unit (CAPU), across a number of clinical courses that we run for Health Education England. For our University Teacher posts, we are particularly keen to recruit accredited CBT practitioners with strong teaching and supervision skills to join the existing teams. For our Clinical Psychology Director, we would be particularly interested in a CBT-oriented clinical researcher, to support the course as it develops a CBT ‘stream’ to ensure BABCP accreditation for trainees.
The team is a large one, and continues to grow as our portfolio of training programme expands. Each course has a Programme Director (listed as contact person below). The available posts are below; jobs descriptions and further information on how to apply are available at https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/jobs :
Please note that the post marked * could be offered as two separate 0.4 FTE posts. The CBT for Eating Disorders course is run remotely, so location is not necessarily a limitation if you have good broadband.
If you are interested in any of these posts, please use the associated link to access the job description and advert, and to make an application.
If you would like to discuss any of the posts, then please contact the relevant Programme Director or Glenn Waller (Director of CAPU) to discuss how you and the role might be a fit for each other.
