Lecturer in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies/Supervision Lead

£48,841 to £51,805 per annum, pro rata

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, fully accredited and highly experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our team as Lecturer/Supervision Lead. In this role, you will contribute across the developing IAPT professional training portfolio of high intensity CBT training that has been commissioned by Health Education East of England. You will provide regular delivery of teaching, supervision, student assessment and examination, providing support for students personal and professional development, academic planning and preparation and other duties as necessary for the provision of high quality professional psychological therapies education. You will make a significant contribution to the delivery of the HIT supervision CPD course as well as organising supervision on the core HIT training and providing supervision of supervision to HIT staff.

You must have a recognised qualification in CBT, BABCP accreditation and experience of training and supervising others in a service capacity or HEI. Supervisor accreditation with BABCP is also desirable.

This part-time (0.6fte) post is available immediately for a fixed term period to 30 September 2023 to cover the absence of the current post holder. We welcome secondment applications.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Adult Barred List.
