IAPT Band 7 (Blended or remote working)
Are you passionate about CBT and are looking for a new opportunity? Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is the answer! Our dynamic Talking Therapies - Somerset IAPT Service is currently expanding its CBT team and is eager to recruit across Somerset in Bridgwater, Wells, Taunton and Chard, as well as recruiting fully remote workers.
We have multiple opportunities available:
WE PROVIDE effective and timely, evidence based therapies following the IAPT model. We value patient outcomes and have a recovery rate of 67%. Our innovative assessment and treatment model means there is no wait for step 2 interventions and effective systems for accessing step 3 interventions. Our waiting times for step 3 interventions are within national targets and we have maintained this standard for the last year.
YOUR ROLE will be central to the running of the team. You will provide high intensity CBT interventions, working with clients who have a range of anxiety, depression and PTSD related problems for which CBT is evidenced to be clinically effective. You will also be trained to provide duty cover.
WE SUPPORT our staff with a strong supervision model. We value CPD and have access to IAPT top-up trainings including, Supervision, MBCT, LTC and in trauma focused Cognitive Therapy for PTSD. Additionally we regularly commission national experts to provide in service training.
