Bipolar Disorder

Aims

  • Plan ways to increase access to psychological therapies for Bipolar disorder in both primary and secondary care
  • Discuss best practice guidance and ensure adherence to NICE guidelines and latest evidence
  • Increase awareness of efficacy of CBT for Bipolar disorder, and confidence in CBT therapists to deliver such therapy
  • Organise CPD training events for BABCP members
  • Collaborate on research projects relating to psychological mechanisms of Bipolar and CBT and third wave approaches
  • Work with other organisations such as Bipolar UK and International Society for Bipolar Disorders
