As a result of buoyant and growing student recruitment to our subject portfolio, we are seeking to recruit to 2 academic posts at Senior Lecturer grade to join our team of experienced academic staff in the Psychological Therapies & Mental Health team. We are looking for enthusiastic and credible professionals to make a key contribution to our academic provision through inspiring high quality teaching, research and enterprise.

To be considered for interview, applicants are required to have as a minimum a postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject along with BACP accreditation and/or UKCP registration as a Psychotherapist or psychotherapeutic counsellor. Experience of working in Higher Education is essential along with proven ability to lead modules and courses. You will be able to demonstrate an in depth understanding of current policies and practice for counselling and mental health services and show evidence of high quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Professional knowledge of some of the following would be advantageous: Working with relational and integrative approaches to therapeutic practice, able to teach a broad range of psychotherapeutic approaches and contemporary models of mental health.

For one post we are particularly seeking a candidate who has a current track record of research & publication activity.
