Norfolk and Waveney Wellbeing (IAPT) Service, NSFT NHS Trust are recruiting:
CBT Trainee Therapists, CBT Therapists and CBT Clinical Supervisors.
A range of exciting opportunities have arisen following the expansion of our high performing IAPT Service. We are looking for committed clinical staff to join this exciting and dynamic service in the following teams:
CBT Trainees: You will be supported through the PG Diploma in High Intensity CBT at the University of East Anglia, a one academic year training spending two days per week at university. The remainder of the week you will develop your practice within the service. You will either hold a BABCP recognised core profession or follow a KSA portfolio route (see: https://www.babcp.com/Accreditation/Core-Profession.aspx ). If you are currently a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner you will have a minimum of two years post qualification experience.
CBT Therapists: Join a growing and dynamic team of CBT therapists working across Norfolk. You will be BABCP Accredited (or Accreditable) and able to maintain your own caseload, providing assessment and treatment for people within an IAPT framework. You will receive weekly high quality clinical and case management supervision and there is an in-house CPD programme to meet your development and accreditation needs. You will also benefit from cutting edge research being carried out in the service, focussing on ways of supporting therapists to enhance and develop their skills.
CBT Clinical Supervisor: You will be joining a dedicated team of Clinical Supervisors providing clinical supervision and case management to Step 3 CBT clinicians, ensuring supervisees work safely and professionally, adhere to NICE guidelines and service guidance, with an awareness of key performance indicators. Applicants should hold full accreditation with the BABCP and have extensive experience of delivering CBT. In this role you will also be able to maintain your own caseload (approximately 1 day per week), providing assessment and treatment for people within an IAPT framework. As well as excellent CPD opportunities, you will also benefit from being part of cutting edge research being carried out in the service, focussing on ways of supporting therapists to enhance and develop their skills.
The Wellbeing Service is an enhanced IAPT service, for ages 16 upwards, who want help with common mental health problems of anxiety and low mood. The service is delivered via a partnership between Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT), Mind and Relate. We follow a bio-psycho-social model which uniquely includes psychological, employment and social interventions. Our treatments are delivered face to face, by telephone, and online via webinars, skype and computerised CBT.
