How do I prove that I am Accredited?

CBT Register

The CBT Register is the list of all our accredited CBT therapists.

You will appear on our CBT Register once you have Accreditation and will remain there unless your accreditation lapses, including during extensions and the processing of accreditation applications, Reaccreditation Declarations and Audits.

If your accreditation lapses, and you subsequently reinstate, your Reinstatement date will be shown on the Register.

Certificates and confirmation correspondence

  • Certificates are issued by email at Practitioner Accreditation as well as Supervisor and Trainer Accreditation
  • An emailed letter of award will confirm when you are awarded Practitioner Accreditation
  • A confirmation email will let you know your Reaccreditation was successful

If you need to provide paper evidence of your latest award, you can use any of the above. However they are not proof of ongoing Accreditation - the CBT Register is the only up to date and accurate method of validating your accreditation status.

Please direct anyone asking for proof of your accreditation to

If you need further paper confirmation of your accreditation, you can ask for a letter by emailing There is a small administration charge for this.
