When we receive your application
If there is anything missing from your application, the administration team will return it to you before it goes to the accreditors. You can resubmit it later with the complete information or documents.
We may ask you or other parties such as your clinical supervisor for further information. We will need this within six weeks.
Accreditors may also refer your application to an Accreditation Liaison Officer for further advice.
Your application will be unsuccessful if you don't meet the criteria, or if you don't give a satisfactory response to a request for further information within six weeks.
We will withdraw your application from the accreditation process and give you feedback to help with any future submissions.
If you have submitted a KSA with your application, it is possible that it meets the criteria but your application does not. In this case, you will receive a KSA Pass Verification certificate. You can supply this with any future applications so you don't have to resubmit the KSA and you would pay only the Provisional Application fee.
If you do not agree with our decision, you may appeal within 28 days of the date we sent you the outcome of the application. If you wish to appeal, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. In the first instance, the decision will be reviewed by the Chief Accreditation Officer who is the Registrar, and may be referred to the Practitioner Accreditation Committee.
