BABCP

The membership consultation on the proposed BABCP Development Plan closed on Monday, 22nd February 2010.

Just 40 responses were received, but the overall plan was viewed positively and supported by all respondents. Each objective relating to the six strategic aims contained in the plan received overwhelming endorsement from those who responded. The range of agreement in relation to specific proposals linked to the strategic aims was between 87% and 100%.

The Strategy Project Group, led by BABCP President Professor John Taylor, has now considered and discussed the responses received and amendments have been made to the draft Development Plan taking into account respondents' comments.

The updated version of the Development Plan will be considered by a joint meeting of the BABCP Board and National Committees Forum in London on Tuesday, 9 March 2010. The final Board approved version of the plan will be published and made available to members via the Association website shortly afterwards.
